The question here would be where to draw the line between required (e.g.
pulling in rpms that you aren't going to use) and optional features.

I believe there is a dependency issue that isn't resolved via the xCAT
rpm repos :o).

When i run mkvm to create a kvm VM i get:
[root@xcat ~]# mkvm kvm1 -s 4G
Error: Sys::Virt perl module missing or older than 0.2.0, unable to
fulfill KVM plugin requirements
[root@xcat ~]#

When i installed xCAT, it did not (automatically) install this
dependency for me.
Installing it with yum seems to fix it (at least for now)!
