Tank you for the link, we actually missed some of the items listed there. But the funny part is that on a machine with an older xCAT and ipv6 not disabled and neither fully configured we do not see the problem.
Anyhow, I am satisfied with what I found, thus I will close my personal 'ticket' for the matter and hope to remember the trick when next installation happens. Thank you very much for your help.
