this the setting:
- mgmt node running RHEL5.5 (no service nodes)
- stateless compute nodes (netboot)
Provisioning nodes with RHEL5.5 images works seamlessly, however I can't
reach the point where I get a RHEL6 image done with genimage.
Below is the error output of running genimage.
I presume this is due to the different algorithms used by the yum versions
in RHEL5 and RHEL6 respectively.
So just wondering whether anyone has had success with a workaround that
would work without breaking or having to upgrade the RHEL5 mgmt node,
e.g. having two versions of yum/rpm on the mgmt node, any option that would
allow the RHEL5 yum to use the RHEL6 algorithms etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
