Hi, I followed the XCAT iDataPlex Cluster Quick Start tutorial and it seems to be running now.
The Problem I encounter over and over again is the DHCP server is offering wrong IPs to the nodes. e.g: nodes are n1-n2 I run "rinstall n1-n2" both nodes get the right IP, e.g. n1 *.20 n2*.21, load the files to install, reboot. Now n1 gets the right IP at PXE DHCP Discover, while n2 gets the next one, *,22. Thus n1 boots from local disk while n2 loads the minikernel. Strangely the minikernel does the DHCP discover again an gets the right IP *.21 and goes into released state and I receive DHCP release for *.21 on the management node. n2 restarts and again PXE gets *.22 as IP, sometimes even *.23 and still gets the "right" IP in the xCat minikernel. This happens over and over again. It also happened earlier when I only executed "rinstall n1". Has anyove ever encountered this and does know a way to fix it?
