i know, right? nothing explicitly with the dhcp or dns configurations. despite not having all the free addresses in the range accounted for, it just stopped working at like the 52nd VM in a batch of 80. restarting that vm would never result in ddns registering the address. neither would cleaning, or changing the omapi key on both sides.
