hpilo plugin is present but not quite compatible with ilo3?
Had a chance today to test on sl390s g7 nodes, here are the results:

### basically it seems for newer ilo3 the plugin is broken. getmacs doesn't work with either hpilo or ipmi plugin - I only added due to the last entry in http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/xcat/index.php?title=XCAT_Linux_Cluster_on_HP_Hardware

Yes, hp_xcat.tgz was merged into xCAT a while ago, into the plugins hpblade and hpilo. I updated the doc to remove the reference to hp_xcat.tgz, but still could use some help improving the doc. If you have any updates, let me know, and i'd be happy to put them in. Thx.

For one, I believe that the hp_xcat.tgz contents were merged. I don't know anything about the support other than that and haven't reviewed that document, but pretend you don't have to get and extract anything and see if it works.

I also have heard rumors that you could just use ipmi on that setup.

    Hi all,

I'm trying to setup xcat on an HP SL390s g7 cluster.

I thought I could add ilo support easily after skimming through

_http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/xcat/index.php?title=XCAT_Linux_Cluster_on_HP_Hardware_
 ,
however failed to notice there is no such file as hp_xcat.tgz

Any chance of an hp ilo plugin out there? or some other solution?

    Thanks in advance
