What level of xCAT are you running and what type of cluster. Only our
most recent levels have been tested with Redhat6.2 and actually we are
still testing, but we need to know about any issues other who have tried
it have found.
You are correct, it is suppose to communicate back that the install/boot
is complete and the install is finished.

Subject: [xcat-user] Stateful install completes but doesn't reset node
            to boot

xCat cluster configured with RHEL 6.2. When installing stateful nodes,
installation proceeds fine until the end when the node reboots. The
node remains in an install state and when it reboots it goes through the
installation process again. I've been able to circumvent this by
performing nodeset nodename boot. I'm assuming that the node should
communicate back to the management node that the installation was
successful and therefore set the node to boot.
