What I am asking is what are the file permission on the files in 192.168.0.1:/scr01/hosts directory. If they are not something like, the following you will not be able to copy them. They have to be set for read by anyone. -rwxr--r-- 1 root system 1063 Mar 9 09:10 mkresolvconf

when the node installing, the directory / is /mnt/sysimages ,so I think
that the following command will be ok
mkdir /mnt/sysimages/disk
mount 192.168.0.1:/scr01 /mnt/sysimages/disk
cp /mnt/sysimages/disk/hosts /mnt/sysimages/etc/

Have you checked the permissions of the files you want to copy. They will
have to be world readable.
