Luis,
  Please visit the documentation page:
http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/xcat/index.php?title=XCAT_Documentation
and pull up the xCAT iDataPlex Cluster Quick Start
If you follow this guide, running getmacs manually is not required.
Autodiscovery magic should take over and do it for you, this includes the
programming the IMM.

Regards,

Tom

Subject: [xcat-user] How to configure getmacs for an idataplex

Hi,

When I execute the xCAT command getmacs i get the error:

#getmacs node2
node2: Error: Unable to identify plugin for this command, check relevant
tables: nodehm.getmac,mgt;nodehm.mg

I checked the nodehm table and getmac and mg are not configured. How
can I configure it for a idataplex server?

Thanks,
Luis Cabellos
