I am interested in this as well but I am still an AWS newbie. The weirdest thing will be that you can't netboot an AWS box. You have to upload an AMI image.
For starters, I think we just ignore the manufacture and delivery of AMIs. The initial work can just be launching an AWS instance based on info from the nodelist table.
