Hello, I'm trying to get a SLES 11.2 stateless image to boot on HS23
blades using xCAT 2.7.3
After runiing "genimage -a x86_64 --o sles11.2 -p compoute -n
be2net,bnx2,tg3 -i eth2" and packing the image, I can boot the initrd
but the kernel fails to load with a
"err,eth2: ioctl SIOCGIFHWADDR: No such device" The so the driver is
not getting loaded for ethernet interface, and I've tried all four of my
network interfaces to make sure it was not coming up on a 10G instead of
the expected 1Gb management interface.
I've loaded the driver updates from IBM for the HS23 and SLES 11.2 ,
elx_dd_nic_4.0.1-4.1 and brdcm_dd_nic_nx2_-2-2 without any luck.
