Here is mine , and it should have been installed by the perl-IO-Tty rpm .
[root@xcat20rrmn bin]# rpm -qf /usr/local/lib64/perl5/IO/Pty.pm
perl-IO-Tty-1.07-1.x86_64

Mine is different. And I found the solution. My RPM with the same version was installed from the 2.6 repository where the path to Pty.pm was /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/IO/Pty.pm. I have replaced this RPM with the version from the 2.7 repository and now the path has changed to /usr/local/lib64/perl5/IO/Pty.pm.

In summary: The update process from 2.6 to 2.7 did not update all the necessary RPMs... Question: Are there any other packages I should re-install from the new repos?
