During the discovery that xCAT does NOT know hardware type so cannot figure out that which specific parameters should be used, so just have a common setting in the /tftpboot/xcat/xnba/nets/<network>. For your scenario, you could try to change the configuration file '/tftpboot/xcat/xnba/nets/<network>' to add your parameters.
