During the discovery that xCAT does NOT know hardware type so cannot figure
out that which specific parameters should be used, so just have a common
setting in the /tftpboot/xcat/xnba/nets/<network>. For your scenario, you
could try to change the configuration file
'/tftpboot/xcat/xnba/nets/<network>' to add your parameters.

Hello all,

I'm facing a situation where I need to pass some kernel parameters to
the discovery kernel (without those parameters, I get kernel panics...).

As far as I can see (by inspecting mknb.pm) there's no table where I can
define those parameters, so for the moment I hard-coded my parameters in
the above-mentioned file, but I think that it would be rather
practical/useful to be able to specify them in one of the tables (may
bootparams?)

If needed, I can work on a patch to get this feature supported.
