I see. It is confusing. I have sent a note to the author. You should definitely go to 2.7.5. I think it is possible, when it was written that 2.7.1 and 2.7.2, were the release and it is just an error in the doc. Thanks for letting us know. By the way, if you are migrating from 2.5.X to 2.7.5, after the upgrade. service xcatd stop, ps -ef | grep xcatd and kill any processes that did not stop. Then service xcatd start. We had a problem in that upgrade path that did not let the xcatd stop successfully. Thanks.

Please give the Link. V 2.7.2 is the minimum level required for Redhat 6.2 and that was only for x-series. Please do go to 2.7.5, it is always best to be on the lastest GA. Yes, we have tested and customers running Redhat 6.2. Lissa K. IBM provide a list of recommended software levels where xCAT is shown as v2.5.2. Does it means I cannot upgrade my xCAT version to the lastest stable version (2.7.5) ? Is there someone who already used this latest version on an IBM Power Cluster running RHEL (v6.2) ? Thanks for your feed back.
