Sounds like the remoteshell postscript is not running. This can sometimes happen when there is no name resolution for the Management Node from the nodes during boot. After you boot, check on the node for /xcatpost/mypostscript. Look in /var/xcat/xcat.log for errors. Check /opt/xcat/xcatinfo, is the server name correct. Another place is the /tmp/wget.log. Do we get errors downloading the postscript. Run lsdef <nodename> and look for the xcatmaster attribute. Is that a name or ip address that can be resolved by the node during boot?
