Thanks! Just what I was looking for.
Will try this on Monday.

Russell,
You could instead use the variable dhcpinterfaces in the site table to
indicate the interface you want the dhcp to run on.
i.e.
chtab key=dhcpinterfaces site.value='xcatmn|eth1'
where, xcatmn is either the MN node name, or the group of nodes that
the management node is in, amd after the | the interface you want to
run dhcp on

Thanks Geert,
It doesn't unfortunately - I have to ifdown the interface on the mgmt
node to get it to stop putting interfaces in dhcpd.conf that I don't
want.
All disabling the network does is make it complain about addresses I
have in otherinterfaces that exist on these nets for nodes.

Hi Russell,
Disabling the network by specifying "1" as last option in the
networks table, makes makedhcp ignore this network.
That might do the trick...

xCAT 2.6
Hi all,
I need to be able to make xcat not listen for dhcp requests on
networks
it is not authoritative for. I tried just leaving the non-xcat
networks
out of the networks table, however when that is done makedns
complains
about hostnames that exist in the hosts table, but do not have
corresponding networks for them defined in the networks table.
What is the correct way of getting makedhcp to not add
interfaces to the
dhcpd.conf where I do not want dhcp requests to be listened for?
This
could potentially interfere with other dhcp servers on these
networks
(we have seen it before).
Thanks!
