Did try centos6.2 iso as well as doing the copycds again for the centos6.3 iso with the same results. I experienced this same behaviour before but I ended up reinstalling the management node for other reasons and the problem went away only to come again after powering back on the management node this morning. Also thought that maybe a service wasn't chkconfig'd on the mn, found vsftpd was not running, started it but did not help much. Just kernel panics after loading initrd.img on the provisioning node console.
