I am confused as to what you are adding. The WWPN is unique to the storage controller port, so why would you expect the second command using the same WWPN and LUN to work?

We are trying to verify this. The current version of xCAT has limited support for SCSI/FCP devices. We plan to add more support in later releases. It basically does most of the tailoring in autoyast/kickstart during the provision phase. If there is an existing VM that you want to config SCSI devices for, it does most of the tailoring on the Linux filesystem, editing /etc/zfcp.conf and such files and echoing the WWPN and LUN through into udev. I do not see a problem (yet) with using NPIV, since most of the configuration is done on the FCP channel(s). I do not see any problem with this. A unique disk is determined by a combination of LUN and WWPN. As long as those values are specified as 16 byte characters, you should be good.
