Hello,
When I change netboot to pxe, i can boot esxi5.1 successfully. But I still
have two questions:
1) what reason when I used xnba, it will loop infinite to install?
2) when installation has been successfully, if definition update in lsdef,
as below information from that environment, status still get at installing.
is it working as design?

lsdef esxi5host:
Object name: esxi5host
    arch=x86_64
    bmc=9.115.235.135
    bmcpassword=PASSW0RD
    bmcport=1
    bmcusername=USERID
    cons=ipmi
    currchain=boot
    currstate=boot
    groups=all
    installnic=vmnic1
    ip=192.168.1.5
    kcmdline=-c xcat/netboot/esxi5.1/x86_64/hypervisor/boot.cfg.install ks=
http://192.168.1.2/install/autoinst/esxi5host
    kernel=xcat/netboot/esxi5.1/x86_64/hypervisor/mboot.c32
    mac=6C:AE:8B:60:FE:03
    mgt=ipmi
    netboot=pxe
    nfsserver=192.168.1.2
    nodetype=osi
    os=esxi5.1
    postbootscripts=otherpkgs
    postscripts=syslog,remoteshell,syncfiles,setupntp
    primarynic=vmnic1
    profile=hypervisor
    provmethod=install
    status=installing

Subject: install esxi4.1 and 5.1 on system x server
To: [email protected]

 Hello,
When I tried to install esxi4.1 and 5.1 with xcat 2.8.1. I met following
issue.
It can be booted and successfully installed, and reboot, but pxe will
install esxi server again...
lsdef esxihost (which esxihost is my esxi node information):
Object name: esxihost
    arch=x86_64
    bmc=9.115.235.135
    bmcpassword=PASSW0RD
    bmcport=1
    bmcusername=USERID
    cons=ipmi
    currchain=boot
    currstate=install esxi4.1-x86_64-base
    groups=all
    installnic=eth1
    ip=192.168.1.4
    kcmdline=xcat/esxi4.1/x86_64/base/vmkboot.gz quiet repo=
http://192.168.1.2:8
0/install/esxi4.1/x86_64
ks=http://192.168.1.2:80/install/autoinst/esxihostksde
vice=vmnic1 --- xcat/esxi4.1/x86_64/base/vmkernel.gz ---
xcat/esxi4.1/x86_64/bas
e/sys.vgz --- xcat/esxi4.1/x86_64/base/cim.vgz ---
xcat/esxi4.1/x86_64/base/ienv
iron.vgz --- xcat/esxi4.1/x86_64/base/install.vgz ---
xcat/esxi4.1/x86_64/base/m
od.tgz
    kernel=xcat/esxi4.1/x86_64/base/mboot.c32
    mac=6C:AE:8B:60:FE:03
    mgt=ipmi
    netboot=xnba
    nfsserver=192.168.1.2
    os=esxi4.1
    postbootscripts=otherpkgs
    postscripts=syslog,remoteshell,syncfiles,setupntp
    primarynic=eth1
    profile=base
    provmethod=install
    status=installing
    statustime=06-09-2013 17:32:39
    xcatmaster=master

Any idea to solve that issue? And how to debug if there has such issue,
when I enable SOL, it cannot work for esxi installation, no output to SOL
session.

Another question is, when I used esxi5.1 to install, it still use legacy
CSM PXE, not the UEFI pxe.

Thanks,
yixuan
