From: [email protected] To: [email protected], Date: 06/19/2013 02:59 AM Subject: [xcat-user] Reg SMAPI configuration as part of xCAT implementation in zVM 6.1 Dear Team, We are trying to implement xCAT in our zVM 6.1 environment . We have installed xCAT in a Linux image We have configured DirMaint Now we are trying to Install and configure SMAPI but unable to proceed further. We refered the available Red books in public domain including z/VM: Directory Maintenance Facility Commands Reference z/VM: Directory Maintenance Facility Tailoring and Administration Guide z/VM: Directory Maintenance Facility Messages Is it fine if we implement it in the below way : we have define the request and worker server (This comes during installation ) Authuorization for request server comes by default in zVM 6.1 so we need to provide DirMaint authority to worker server, if so how do we give he authorization. Following this just starting the server by logging in to VSMWORK1.
