Subject: [xcat-user] makehosts -d did not
clean up otherinterface records
Hi all,
When deleting a node, I have noticed that doing a "makehosts
-d <node
name>" does not seem to delete my hosts.otherinterface
records from
/etc/hosts. This is with xCAT 2.8.2.
Is there a better option for removing the records/node? The
steps I am
taking for completely removing a node is:
makedhcp -d <node>
makedns -d <node>
makehosts -d <node>
noderm <node>
Everything else seems to get cleaned up fine.
