The default IPMI password is being selected over the MM/blade password whether it is set as a default or for the individual blade chassis in mpa. Disabling the default IPMI password fixes the issue but obviously this isn't an acceptable workaround. The version is 2.8 and the problem appears to be in/below the getIPMIAuth function.
