You needed to copy all the files under netboot to the node . The imgutils.pm is in the /opt/xcat/share/xcat/netboot/imgutils directory. The new documentation is a little better. I will fix the old one.
new Doc but really only applies to 2.8.x https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/xcat/index.php?title=Building_a_Stateless_Image_of_a_Different_Architecture_or_OS Copy the executables and files needed from the Management Node: mkdir -p /opt/xcat/share/xcat/ cd /opt/xcat/share/xcat/ scp -r xcatmn:/opt/xcat/share/xcat/netboot . <--- we copy all the files under netboot directory. To be honest, i'm probably missing something - i clearly remeber doing this, successfully, a long time ago, but right now i don't see an option to do so without installing xCAT on the other node as well. what am i missing? thx!
