So I wanted to nail down a name before getting ready to push the tree
public. I was considering the following names:
confluent: flowing together or merging
conflux: a meeting of multiple bodies of water
conflation: the process or result of fusing items into one entity; fusion;
amalgamation
Any suggestions/preferences are welcome. Currently it's called 'confluent'
in my repo and the CLI equivalent of 'xcatclient' is called 'confetty'.
It is likely to become much more than a console manager, including
potentially:
-PXE parameter server (leaving dhcp configuration much less peculiar
looking)
-Boot configuration file serving (Addressing some situations of stale boot
configuration)
-Hardware control and health monitoring (potentially much faster rpower,
secure alternative to PET alerts, eventlog curation to avoid 'SEL Full',
etc)
