The script runs ssh-keygen when it detects that the ssh keys (both hostkeys and root ssh keys that ) it is getting from the MN are not valid. Try running xcatconfig -k also to regenerate the /root .ssh key . Running xcatconfig -s did the hostkeys.
Also then just try xdsh <node> -K ( it will prompt for root password on the node) See if that works setting up the keys. If that works, try the install again. Also make sure that the site master attribute is the ip address or resolvable host name that the node will be able to contact during the install. I assume this is non-hierarchical. If you lsdef the node, and you have an xcatmaster address or name, make sure it is the MN name as known by the node during install. Lissa K. And the file contains the id_rsa from the xcat server... What is wrong here ? Why the remoteshell choose to run the ssh-keygen at the end, and even so why the ssh-keygen run without -N "" ?
