Depending on how bit it is, you can tabedit performance and just remove all the rows. If you are using sqlite you can rm /etc/xcat/performance.sqlite. The next time you restart xcatd, the table will get recreated.
If using another database like mysql, we can look up the command to drop the table using the mysql interface. The monls command will tell you what is running and you can use monstop to stop it.
