I have a question that might be real simple but I can't find documentation
or a post to answer my question.
I have the following files in /opt/xcat/share/xcat/install/rh:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3088 Aug 15 12:27 compute.ppc64.tmpl
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3086 Aug 15 11:29 compute.ppc64.tmpl.bak0
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3047 Aug 15 11:18 compute.rhels6.ppc64.tmpl
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 158 Aug 15 11:18 compute.rhels6.ppc64.pkglist
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2843 Aug 15 11:16 compute.rhels6.tmpl
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 152 Aug 15 11:15 compute.rhels6.pkglist
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2934 Aug 15 11:14 compute.rhelhpc6.tmpl
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 141 Aug 15 11:13 compute.rhelhpc6.pkglist
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2839 May 29 23:12 compute.rhels6.x86_64.tmpl
Which of the tmpl and pkglist files will be used when I build a compute
node? I am using ppc64.
I created a compute node but the anaconda-ks.cfg file does not contain much
of the content found in any of the above files. I know xCAT does
substitution (can't find that doc either) but the order of the
anaconda-ks.cfg is not what I would expect. Does xCAT and/or anaconda
reorder? Thanks...
