We have two clusters running all IBM X-series hardware, we are looking
at installing Hewlett Packard DL360p's compute nodes in a cluster running
Xcat 2.6.11. The other cluster will get DL580's compute nodes and is
running Xcat 2.7.6. What I am looking for is advice on what I am proposing.
These two clusters have few availability windows so I need to minimize any
issues in getting the HP's integrated. I assume I am going to need USB
conversion
kits to hook them up to the IBM KVM's? Rails and power cables are good.
