Are you still having an issue with this?  I suspect you are having 
problems communicating from the node back to xcatd.  Typically it is a 
name resolution problem at this point in the process.  Make sure your DNS 
setup is correct, that your nameservers are active, and that you can 
resolve both the node's hostname and the management node's hostname (as 
known from the node).

Hey all, 
I have a problem that I want to bounce off more people.  2 Xcat setups, 
(v2.8.5),  one have 5 nodes, single switch, the other has 75 nodes and 4 
switches.  Hardware is the same, 

On the 4 node system, xcat installs the nodes just fine, originally had 
some issues with, nodeset <node> boot but Jarrod helped me out with that 
one and no big deal. 
However, on the 75 node cluster, my /xcatpost/mypostscripts file contains 
NONE of the postscripts I have called out in the tabfile and the install 
constantaly loops instead of finishing and setting the nextboot to "boot" 
rather then install. 

Thoughts?
