Hi Langton,
xCAT does not need ftp now. It uses tftp and http to transfer files
from mn to the nodes.

Subject: [xcat-user] ftp on xcat
After installing and setting up the xcat server, I realised tha there is
no a ftp service. I am surprised that its not bundled together with xcat
installation files.
So now I need to install and configure the ftp service particularly
according to xcat specs.
Please advise on the way forward
