I'm working with xCAT 2.10 and RHEL 6.7. I have a Cisco 3560 configured for switch discovery.
When a node boots up, it gets a temporary IP and goes into Beginning node discovery process. On the mgmt node logs it seems to get configured as its assigned the correct IP address for that switchport it's plugged into. However, the node prints a message on the console "Received request to retry in a bit, will call xCAT back in ... seconds. That times out and repeats. If I reboot the node it comes up correctly configured. Even before the reboot the node has the assigned IP since I can ping it. I'm not sure if I don't have something configured in tabs correctly, or I'm missing something in the images, or.... Any suggestions would be very welcome! Thanks! --David
