Hi Ade,

Thanks for reporting this. There seemed to be some issue when we rsync'ed
up the repo to xcat.org in the previous version...
I fixed this issue today which caused a new build of the xcat-dep
https://github.com/xcat2/xcat-core/issues/1132 and so it looks like the
rsync went well this time.

I just tried on your os/arch and installed xCAT using the public repos..
it was okay for me. Let me know if you still see this issue. (might want
to run "yum clean all" first...)

Regards,

VICTOR K. HU

Yes, xCAT realized the issue and will update the repo soon.

Thanks

You are right, the repomd.xml is not in sync with the rest of it… I do
not have access to fix it…

Subject: [xcat-user] Possible yum repo issue

Hello

I’m trying to install a new xCAT install with the current release 2.11.1
using the RPM yum repositiories.

However, I’m getting the error from yum during install:

http://xcat.org/files/xcat/repos/yum/xcat-dep/rh6/x86_64/repodata/3a8c52814e9775da6bf5381dbca28ddf42ba6f65-primary.sqlite.bz2
: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404 Not
Found"

I’ve done this several times recently without issue, including once just a
month or so ago, and not encountered this. I’m either being silly (more
than possible) or something is wrong. I can work round with the dep
tarball of course, but thought it might be worth raising.

Cheers all
~~
Ade
