"sysclone" was developed few years ago, "rmimage" just supports delete golden osimages for s390x.

 

If we enhance this feature in the future, we will refine this part.

 

But you can delete related files by hands. Below are the steps:

 

# lsdef -t g-rhels6.5_lvm    // this is an example
    .............
    provmethod=sysclone
    rootimgdir=/install/sysclone/images/g-rhels6.5_lvm        // this is a example

 

# rm -r  /install/sysclone/images/g-rhels6.5_lvm

# rm -r  /install/sysclone/overrides/g-rhels6.5_lvm

# rm     /install/sysclone/scripts/g-rhels6.5_lvm.master

 

# rmdef -t osimage -o g-rhels6.5_lvm

Hi, 

recently we have generated few golden images. Now we are trying to get rid from such images without any success. All our attempts fails with the following error message:

rmimage rhel6.8-golden
Error: rmimage cannot be used to remove sysclone images for "x86_64" architecture

What could be reason for such error message and how to properly delete the golden images?
