Check on the node that the script is executable. I recently saw that when the scripts get copied to the node that all execute bits get removed.
I would also recommend that you use the new offer ofed installation script. The one with 2 on the end of the name. Look in the /opt/xcat tree for the scripts.
The new one copies the iso to the node and mounts it, then runs the installer from there. I find it to be a much cleaner way to manage multiple ofed versions
