Siddharth,
Yes, "chvm" would do what you want, but note:
1. You have to "rpower off" the VM in order to make the change.
2. Using "chvm" command will not change the xCAT's definition of the VM
node object, so that if you remove the VM and create it again using xCAT
node object, you will be back to your original settings. You can use
"chdef" to change the xCAT's VM node object definition.
