Siddharth,

If you do "man makehosts" you will see "-d" option. That allows you to 
remove only the nodes specified in the "noderange".

Hi Team,
When I remove a group of vms and do makehosts -n, it replaces all entries 
( existing nodes as well ) from the /etc/hosts, whag would be the best way 
to prevent it from doing it and only remove the entries wrt the node being 
removed ?
