Mixing and matching centos and rhel is easy enough. -----Original Message----- From: Paul Brunk [mailto:pbr...@uga.edu] Sent: Tuesday, June 27, 2017 8:02 AM To: xcat-user@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: [xcat-user] RHEL mgmt node w/CentOS cluster?
Hi all: It seems this must be a FAQ but I've not found the answer yet. If I want to deploy and run a CentOS 7.x cluster, can the mgmt node run RHEL 7.X? Or would sucn a MN need a CentOS service node? If an RHEL MN can manage a CentOS cluster, would there be (xCAT-wise) a reason to prefer a CentOS MN anyway?
