I am trying to set up a simulated environment for our xCAT cluster, using
virtual machines (on KVM/QEMU)

These virtual machines do not have IPMI. As best I can tell, both the
MTMS-based discovery and the Sequential-based discovery rely on IPMI, and
the switch-based discovery relies on SNMP (which I also don't have in the
virtual environment).

I want to avoid manual discovery if I can, even though it's only a small
sandbox test environment.

I am wondering if there is a way to get the discovery information from dhcp
leases?
