Ok, after reading the docs a bit more, I started to realize that I might
not have asked the right question;-(
Here is my situation. My MN is on centOS 7.4, I am running centOS6.9
stateful, and I would like to setup centOS6.9 stateless. How do I do
that? So, I came across this document,

, I follow this document but I get Perl module error with the 'genimage'
command from the node that I attempted to run 'genimage' . Of course , all
the Perl modules are not installed for Xcat to use.
So, I would like to ask, how are you doing a stateless image for an OS
version that is different than your MN node OS version (e.g. , MN is on
centOS 7 but stateless OS is , lets say, centOS 6.9) .
There seems to be golden image approach (found this here:
https://sourceforge.net/p/xcat/wiki/Using_Clone_to_Deploy_Server/?version=31)
, but I am not sure if that's the best approach to do this(?)
