Glad that could help, makes no sense for quiet to suppress the anaconda stuff 
though, I use quiet all the time and get stopped by installer messages...  very 
bizarre...

Interestingly enough, removing the "quiet" allowed me to see all the "regular" 
messages and then the anaconda shell with its multiple tabs ...
