Dracut emergency mode would be well after the xnba.kpxe download, so I don’t 
think you have to worry about that.

When we say the node display, are we saying the video console or rcons?

If set up for rcons, you may want to consult either the 
/var/log/consoles/<node> file or /var/log/confluent/consoles/<node>, depending 
on which file exists.

Hello,

I'm trying to install nodes in diskless mode with CentOS 7.5
However after booting in pxe the installation does not start because the node 
is stuck in emergency mode. There is no error shown on the node display though.

In /var/log/messages there is a line "error code 0 tftp aborted" after "rrq 
from 10.0.0.1 filename xCAT/xnba.kpxe"
