Thanks for the suggestion re network firmware.  Unfortunately, it's a 1G
card, not a 10G, and a firmware update didn't resolve the problem (timing
out while trying to download binary efi file).  So we're back to BIOS
booting.

I'll check out the partition file as suggested.
