Currently xcat-inventory does not provide an out of the box Ansible
Inventory plugin, but I think it should be feasible to transform the xCAT
object definitions into a format suitable for consumption by Ansible if you
want to try to implement your own plugin.
If you decide to pursue this further, I am interested in any feedback you
can provide about the experience.

Regards,
Nate

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [xcat-user] xcat-inventory features and Ansible

xcat-inventory dev team:

I'm considering moving from Cobbler to xCAT. One feature I would like to
retain is pulling the Ansible inventory directly from Cobbler config.
The xcat-inventory github page states that a similar integration with
Ansible was planned in 2019. Has there been any progress on this?

Sorry for the repost, but the last one got off topic. I have no current
interest in Confluent.

Thanks
