Thanks all for the answers. Thomas and Jon, very nice answers indeed. It was unrelated on the MLNX OFED Repository but this solved some doubts that I had with this repo. I never fully understood why things ended up broken when using the repo. The repo should be the way to go, but Mellanox is unable to cope with it.
