You will need to add an exclude line in the repository that you don’t want to pull Slurm from. In your case the Epel repository.

[epel]

name=Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux 7 - $basearch

metalink=https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=epel-7&arch=$basearch&infra=$infra&content=$contentdir

failovermethod=priority

enabled=1

gpgcheck=1

exclude=slurm*

gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-EPEL-7

Hi, I'm trying to install a specific version of Slurm using otherpkg,
but we also have the Epel repository which provides its own version of
Slurm.

Is there a way to specify a specific version when installing RPMs using
otherpgks (or any other method)?

Thanks
