Hello all, I have a feeling this is something stupid that I am just missing. But I have been banging my head against the wall for a while. I have found information about this error out there, but none of the fixes seem to work. I am trying to genimage an image which has been working. We needed to update some of the scripts to install a newer version of GPFS. The same update worked on our normal stateless image, but I cannot get the cuda version of the same image to generate. I am trying to build a RHEL 7.9 image on a RHEL7.9 machine with Xcat 2.16.
This is the final few lines of the genimage: chroot /install/netboot/rhels7.9/x86_64/cudafull/rootimg dracut -f /tmp/initrd.3751.gz 3.10.0-1160.el7.x86_64 No '/dev/log' or 'logger' included for syslog logging Turning off host-only mode: '/sys' is not mounted! Turning off host-only mode: '/proc' is not mounted! Turning off host-only mode: '/run' is not mounted! Turning off host-only mode: '/dev' is not mounted! dracut module 'xcat' cannot be found or installed. Error: failed to generate the initial ramdisk for stateless.. Any hints or pointers would be appreciated. Thanks, Sam
