Hi,

you can already try the latest dev release:
https://xcat.org/files/xcat/xcat-core/devel/Linux/core-snap/core-rpms-snap.tar.bz2
It passes all tests, and we use it in production for quite a few clusters.

There are still a couple of things missing for the next release though.
You can check the progress here: https://github.com/xcat2/xcat-core/milestone/53

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Kind regards

I agree. I have two cluster upgrade projects, development, and production in
the works.

Jumping over RHEL 8 to RHEL 9 will add considerably to the expected lifespan of
the new

installations. In an environment that that is becoming increasingly
complicated by review

and restrictions, increasing the time between major upgrades increases my
productivity.

decided for the new release? thanks ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍
