Yes, my test environment is on Proxmox. there is no other DHCP servers as
far as I know.
lsdef output for the MAC address matched with DHCP lease table:

As I mentioned in my private message with you , for some magical reason the
node appears to be building. I am trying to reproduce the problem ,
repeatedly . You mentioned that you might have found a regression in
makedhcp. and there is a problem in with 'Indexes' in
/etc/httpd/conf.d/xcat.conf for the /Install directive .
