I'm not Tim, but I do this process often - but only have to change
the name once.

What version are you using?

Do you have the checkbox for "X schematics" at the top of the
Output dialog box checked?  I have been using this feature for
years, so it would have to be an old, old version to not have it.

Hmm.  But as I read through your description again, it sounds like
_maybe_ you have a bunch of one-page schematics that you are
wanting to merge into a single multi-page schematic?  If so, then
there is probably a way to use the tcl command interface - but I'm
not familiar enough with tcl to help.
