I'm getting a "large inflate error" anytime xcircuit loads a library or drawing that has the logo - either as a .png or .ppm.
The TCL console reports thus: loading history file ... 0 events added Starting xcircuit under Tcl interpreter Loaded font file /usr/local/lib/xcircuit-3.9/fonts/helvetica.lps Loaded font file /usr/local/lib/xcircuit-3.9/fonts/times_roman.lps Loaded font file /usr/local/lib/xcircuit-3.9/fonts/courier.lps Loaded font file /usr/local/lib/xcircuit-3.9/fonts/symbol.lps Loaded library file /home/xcircuit//dni-circuit-symbols.lps Loaded library file /home/xcircuit//dni-circuit-tags.lps Loaded library file /home/xcircuit//dni-conn_panel.lps Loaded library file /home/xcircuit//dni-conn_cable.lps Loaded library file /home/xcircuit//dni-physical.lps large inflate error: -3(incorrect data check) Loaded library file /home/xcircuit//dni-page.lps Loaded library file /usr/local/lib/xcircuit-3.9/analoglib2.lps Main console display active (Tcl8.5.11 / Tk8.5.11) If I comment out the line in ~/.xcircuitrc that loads "dni-page.lps" there is no error. That the error _precedes_ the problem puzzled me for a bit. This has been going on for quite a while, but since nothing ever seemed to be broken I have ignored it. I just dug in an overhauled a bunch of library objects and updated my template drawing. While messing with it, I decided to try to resolve the error too. I tried using a .ppm file rather than a .png file - no different. I then removed the logo. Then it loaded with no error. Finally, when I convert one of these drawings to a PDF using ps2pdf, I get a warning: warning: ignoring zlib error: incorrect data check XCircuit version 3.9 revision 37 gs version 9.05 I think TCL is tclsh8.5 Any ideas? Or do I just go on ignoring it? *smiles* -- Philip _______________________________________________ Xcircuit-dev mailing list Xcircuit-dev@opencircuitdesign.com http://www.opencircuitdesign.com/mailman/listinfo/xcircuit-dev
